About Us

We teach languages from an international perspective.

An international approach to language learning, developed in Peru.

Dr. Spanglish was founded to address a particular challenge.

Spanglish can be fun, spontaneous and even part of our identity.

Spanglish is a cultural phenomenon: a combination of Spanish and English that forms part of how millions of people communicate in Latin America.

For many Spanish-speaking professionals, however, it also presents a challenge: a mixture of language structures, sounds and habits that can become a barrier to communicating naturally and confidently in English.

Since arriving in Peru, our mission has been clear: to develop a teaching approach that helps Spanish-speaking professionals overcome the particular challenges of learning English and communicate effectively.

We do not believe in a single method for everyone.

We believe in understanding how a person learns, the difficulties their mother tongue presents and what they need to use the language in the real world.

A learning approach designed for Spanish speakers.

For years, language learning in Latin America has faced significant challenges: methods poorly adapted to Spanish speakers, materials developed for other contexts, limited access to international research and an insufficient connection between language education and professional needs.

At Dr. Spanglish, we combine linguistic knowledge, methodology, research, international experience and an understanding of the Latin American context.

Our aim is not simply to teach English. It is to understand why learning it can be difficult and to design better ways to do so.

Research.
Reflection.
Evolution.

Learning a language is a complex cognitive process that should evolve with research and adapt to learners' needs.

Research

We follow new trends, methodologies and findings in language acquisition and teaching.

Reflection

We continually analyze what works, what can improve and how to adapt our processes.

Evolution

We see education as an ongoing process. A good methodology never stops developing.

Our vision extends to Latin America and other international markets.

Our purpose is to build a competitive, dynamic and contemporary institute for learning English and other languages.

Breaking down communication barriers. That is our goal.
