1. Data controller and contact

The data controller is INSTITUTO DOKTOR SPANGLISH S.A.C. (Dr. Spanglish), RUC tax identification number 20610443878, with its registered address at Av. Alfredo Benavides 1975, 4th floor, Apartment 402, Miraflores, Lima, Peru.

2. Data we process

If you contact us, we may receive your full name, email address, phone number, program of interest and any content you choose to include in your message. Please do not send sensitive data, such as health information, in an initial inquiry.

When you visit the website, technical data may also be processed, including your IP address, browser information and security logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Some visible resources, such as fonts or LinkedIn images, are requested directly from their providers.

The website form is not yet accepting inquiries. Once enabled, it will indicate which fields are required. Without the necessary contact details, we will be unable to respond to your request.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your inquiry and provide guidance on the institute's programs through the contact channel you provide.
• To follow up on your inquiry until it has been addressed.
• To protect the website and, once the form is enabled, prevent automated or abusive submissions.

We do not use inquiry data for newsletters or advertising campaigns without obtaining the appropriate consent. Nor do we make decisions based solely on automated processing regarding admission to or purchase of programs.

4. Consent and contact channels

Once the form is enabled, you will be able to read this policy and expressly consent to the processing of the data needed to respond to you before submitting it. We will record the date and version you accepted. Publishing this policy does not replace that consent.

If you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, your message will be managed on that platform and will also be subject to Meta/WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy. Those conversations do not automatically enter our CMS inbox. When responding through that channel, we will process the data you voluntarily share with us to address your request.

You may request the withdrawal of your consent by contacting info@drspanglish.pe; this does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal or applicable legal obligations.

5. Inquiries about Kids & Teens

For information about programs for minors, we ask that a parent or legal guardian contact us. You do not need to send the child's personal data in the initial message. If we identify information about a minor submitted without the appropriate authorization, we will take steps to stop processing it and address any applicable erasure request.

6. Providers and storage

We use Cloudflare to host and protect the website. Once the form is enabled, inquiries will be stored in the institute's private database within Cloudflare's infrastructure. Authorized administrators will be able to read and manage them in the CMS; editors will not have access to the inbox. We plan to use Turnstile for spam protection and Resend to send info@drspanglish.pe a notification of a new inquiry, without including the message or the inquirer's personal details; Resend notifications are not yet active.

These services and other external website resources may process data outside Peru. Before enabling new functions involving processing or international transfers, the institute must verify each provider's applicable terms and safeguards. We do not sell inquiry data to third parties.

Links to external websites or platforms, such as WhatsApp and LinkedIn, lead to services with their own policies.

When automatic translation is enabled and requested by the visitor, we will send only public website text to DeepL for translation. We will not send inquiry messages or information entered in forms. Translations will be cached to avoid repeated requests; Spanish will remain the original version.

7. Retention period

Once the form is enabled, received inquiries and their associated notes will remain in the website inbox for 12 months from receipt. After that period, a daily automated task will delete them from the inbox. If any documentation must be retained to meet a legal obligation, the institute will manage it separately. This rule does not cover CSV files that authorized staff have downloaded outside the website.

8. Your rights

You may request information and exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection, as well as other rights recognized under Peruvian law. Contact us at info@drspanglish.pe stating the right you wish to exercise and the details needed to identify you. We may request reasonable documentation to verify your identity or representation, without asking for more information than necessary.

We will respond within the legal time limits. If you believe your request has not been addressed, you may contact Peru's National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data.

9. Security, technologies and changes

The website uses HTTPS and access controls for its private area. We apply the security measures provided by the infrastructure and review authorized staff access. No system can guarantee absolute security.

We have not currently integrated Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Before adding measurement or advertising tools that require consent, we will review their configuration and update the information provided to visitors.

If we change how we process data, we will update this page and indicate the new effective date.
